The newest addition to Polaroid’s line up of instant digital cameras, the Polaroid Pop is bringing back the fun of the beloved 3×4” sized classic Polaroid print with the iconic white borders. Continuing the the simple, modern aesthetic of the Polaroid Snap and Polaroid Cube cameras, the Polaroid Pop combines high end tech specs with a compact form that’s easy to hold and take anywhere.
The Polaroid Pop has a black rectangular camera body accented with a soft, silicone rubber grip with a pop of color. The grip can be removed to easily load paper, and makes it comfortable to take photos holding the camera either horizontally or vertically. An easy-to-use one-button shutter control in red is a nod to the classic Polaroid One Step camera.
In addition to shooting and printing instant photos, the Polaroid Pop can be used like an ordinary digital camera. There’s a 3.97-inch touchscreen LCD on the back, a dual LED flash on the front, a 20-megapixel sensor, as well as features such as image stabilization, 1080p HD video, and microSD card support. Other specs and features include Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connectivity and an app that lets you customize photos with stickers and more. The Polaroid Pop will be available at the end of 2017 for $199.
