As part of a multi-year collaboration with leading kitchen and bath fixture manufacturer Kohler, Ammunition designed the company’s massive product showcase, project planning, purchase referral, and customer support website. We also supported several high profile product launches with brand identity and promotional campaigns.
Whether focused on the grand scale of organizing Kohler’s product portfolio or on the narrower tasks like new product introductions, the common objective has been to exemplify Kohler’s ethos of gracious living.
For Kohler’s showcase website, our challenge was to shift emphasis away from an often overwhelming catalog of the company’s vast product range. We focused on creating a more useful, usable, and elegant tool that helps all users quickly and meaningfully engage with relevant content and tools— and serves as a more effective partner in the often-daunting process of planning a remodeling or construction project.
We rationalized Kohler’s key marketing literature into a comprehensive system that worked across the entire organization. The goal of the system was to demonstrate how to showcase the right kind of information tailored to Kohler’s diverse audiences in a timely way.
Through a campaign that included a product book, brochure and other launch collateral, Ammunition worked with Kohler to introduce Honed White, a vitreous china matte glaze finish that evokes the look and feel of honed stone.
To launch the Numi, Kohler’s most advanced toilet, Ammunition wrote, designed and produced a comprehensive campaign including video, photography, web, print, packaging and merchandising components.
