Founded in 2012, The Hatch Agency is one of the country’s premier boutique public relations firms. The team approaches PR from a creative perspective, with a focus on established technology brands and pioneering startups. Hatch’s deep dive process helps form an objective look at their clients’ businesses and promotes new and creative solutions for launching brands. The firm’s existing site was not communicating this modern, innovative approach.
Our challenge was to create a new digital presence that would better match Hatch’s best in class offering and expertise. The solution was to focus our digital strategy on what makes the firm so successful – its creative leadership. This approach helped to elevate the Hatch team’s passion for PR and provide a glimpse inside their firm and an understanding of their mission.
Taking an iterative approach, we created a few prototypes with a responsive, organic grid to accommodate a variety of content – case studies, team portraits, and stories. This created a framework that allowed us to iterate and improve rapidly, evaluating the look and feel in real-time with code based animations that work seamlessly across devices.
The result created a new visual language for the brand, pairing bold color blocking with moments of ample white space, observational photography, along with a new typography system and color palette. To see more, visit the full Hatch site here.
