As a key strategic initiative to strengthen its position as the leading source of digital tools for creative professionals, Adobe partnered with us on its first foray into hardware. The result was Ink and Slide, a cloud-connected stylus and ruler that make sketching and drawing on the iPad more natural and fluid. 
Inspired by the triangular rubber pencil grips used by young schoolchildren, the twisted shape of Ink’s hydroformed aluminum body provides a comfortable, ergonomic grip that enables more precise drawing. The Slide ruler was based upon the simple observation that sketching is a two handed activity, and the model of ruler and templates were a key aspect of natural illustration techniques. The combination of Ink and Slide enables more exact sketching — straight lines, perfect circles and balanced shapes on the iPad.
