Ammunition Wins 2 Gold and 2 Silver at 2009 Spark Awards Competition

The Fuego Element grill and Beats Solo headphones took gold medals at Spark's 2009 international design competition, while the Zephyr Horizon range hood and HeartBeats by Lady Gaga headphones won silver.

An expert jury judged from over 300 finalists from around the world at this year's competition, before selecting just over 20 gold medalists. Award-winning entries will be shown at a reception in the Autodesk Design Gallery in San Francisco.

Regen Wins First Place and Fan Favorite at 2009 i-stage Competition

Regen's Renu product, designed by Ammunition, won first place at the 2009 i-stage competition in Phoenix, in addition to carrying the audience vote.

i-stage is an annual competition for next-generation technologies, organized by the Consumer Electronics Association. The competition is judged by industry experts and leading entrepreneurs.

First prize winners receive $40,000 and a booth at the 2010 CES in Las Vegas, the world's largest consumer technology tradeshow.

Ammunition Wins red dot Communication Design Award

Ammunition has been honored with the prestigious red dot Award: Communication Design 2009 for its design of the product catalog for Kohler's new "Honed White" finish.

The red dot design award is the largest and most renowned design competition in the world, with more than 11,000 submissions from 61 countries. The "red dot" is awarded in three categories: product design, communication design and design concept.

The red dot award was established in 1955 and is evaluated by an international jury. Winners are displayed at the red dot design museum in Essen, Germany.

Ammunition Designs win red dot 2009 Product Design Awards

The red dot design awards, the world's largest and most distinguished design competition, has just announced its 2009 winners, and Ammunition is responsible for five award-winning products.

Ammunition's designs for the Dell Precision and Dell Latitude Notebook families each garnered a "red dot," while its work on the Dell OptiPlex desktop family earned the competition's highest award, the "red dot: Best of the Best."

In addition, Ammunition, in partnership with the Dell Experience Design Group, developed the design language behind two more 2009 award winners: the Dell M109S Projector and the Dell Latitude family.

In the category of Product Design, the competition received over 3000 entries from a total of 49 countries. The jury panel awarded "red dot" to 683 products and the "Best of the Best" accolade to 49.

American companies received 38 red dot awards in total, with Dell and Apple receiving the most, taking home eight each. Ammunition was responsible for the design or design language of five of Dell's eight red dot winners.

Zephyr wins Chicago Athenaeum Good Design 2008 Award

The Chicago Athenaeum has presented Robert Brunner and Ammunition Group/Zephyr the 2008 Good Design Award for the Plane range hood which is part of the Arc Collection.

The World's Most Prestigious Global Awards for New Product Design and Graphics presented by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design in conjunction with The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies

Founded in 1950, GOOD DESIGN is the world's oldest and most celebrated awards program that bestows international recognition upon designers and manufacturers for advancing new and innovative product concepts and for stretching the envelope beyond what is considered standard product and consumer design.
