Brett Wickens Nominated for National Design Awards

We are very proud to announce that Ammunition partner Brett Wickens has been nominated for the 13th Annual National Design Awards in the category of communication design. The Communication Design Award is given to an individual or firm for exceptional and exemplary work in graphic or multimedia design.

First launched in 2000 as an official project of the White House Millennium Council, the program celebrates design in various disciplines as a vital humanistic tool in shaping the world, and seeks to increase national awareness of the impact of design through education initiatives. The Awards are bestowed in recognition of excellence, innovation, and enhancement of the quality of life.

Nominations were solicited from a committee of more than 2,500 designers, educators, journalists, cultural figures and corporate leaders from across the country. Nominees must have at least seven years of experience in order to be nominated, and winners are selected based on the caliber of their overall body of work.

The National Design Awards is a program of the Smithsonian’s Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum. Honorees will be announced in June.

Congratulations and good luck, Brett!
