Ammunition Collaborates with Adobe on “Project Mighty” and “Project Napoleon”


Ammunition’s team of designers have collaborated with Adobe to produce “Project Mighty”, a Bluetooth-enabled cloud pen for the iPad and iPhone, and “Project Napoleon,” a Bluetooth, multifunctional straight edge for the iPad – the software giant’s first foray into exploring hardware products.

“We partnered with Adobe on a variety of hardware explorations to create a holistic and thoughtfully designed product experience,” said Ammunition founder/partner Robert Brunner, “We all understand tools, and the pen and ruler are the most iconic instruments embedded in our idea of drawing and writing, but they haven't been effectively introduced into the digital world. The form language, the feel, and the integration into Adobe’s services and products had to be right while also creating an object of desire – something beautiful and alluring."

Adobe debuted the “Project Mighty” stylus for tablets and the “Project Napoleon” digital ruler at their annual MAX conference during the May 6, 2013 morning keynote.

Ammunition Designed Teemo Nominated for a Webby


Ammunition is honored to be nominated for a Webby Award, in the Social Gaming (Handhold Devices) category, at the 17th Annual Webby Awards for our work with fitness adventure game, Teemo.

“We are thrilled to be recognized by The Webby Awards,” says Matt Rolandson, partner at Ammunition. “We wanted to create a health application that places game play and social interaction in the foreground, while keeping tracking and quantification in the background. Most fitness games are based on competition, but Teemo focuses on teamwork instead, letting you work toward a common goal even when you’re apart.”

Winners will be announced on Tuesday, April 30, 2013.

Ammunition Honored at 2013 Interaction Awards


We're honored to be a winner in the “Empowering” category at the 2013 Interaction Awards for the design of Teemo. The second annual competition recognizes interaction design that is “helping people do things they otherwise couldn’t do.”

Conceived, funded, designed, developed and launched by Ammunition in partnership with Bonnier R&D, Teemo is a fitness adventure game that combines proven training techniques, social connection and entertaining adventures to help users integrate simple, healthy exercises into their daily lives and relationships.

Brett Wickens on the ‘Changing Faces of Bowie’


Ammunition partner Brett Wickens is one of a hundred designers worldwide who was invited to design a logo for the ‘Changing Faces of Bowie’ project that will be featured in the upcoming David Bowie retrospective at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London (March 23 – August 11, 2013).

Ammunition Designs Williams-Sonoma Tech-Driven Smart Tools and Retailer’s First Line of Cookware


Ammunition is proud to introduce the first results of its ongoing collaboration with Williams-Sonoma —the retailer’s first line of tech-driven Smart Tools, stainless-steel kitchen tools and cookware for the kitchen. Ammunition drew upon Williams-Sonoma’s five decades of culinary experience and customer insight to create technologically advanced, beautifully designed cookware and tools.
