Ammunition Makes it into Fast Company’s Top 5 Design Companies Worldwide
Fast Company, the leading business magazine, has named Ammunition as No. 5 on its list of the Most Innovative Companies in the Design category in its annual feature honoring the world's Most Innovative Companies. For Ammunition, positioned in the Top 5 marks a step up from last year's poll in 6th place.
To create the Most Innovative Companies list, Fast Company analyzed information on thousands of businesses across the globe. The result is a unique package that strives to identify creative models and progressive cultures to define the many forms of innovation that exist across the business landscape.
Describing Ammunition, the article claims, "It ping-ponged from designing Barnes & Noble's hot e-book reader Nook to developing high-performance earphones for celebrity clients such as Lady Gaga and Dr. Dre."

Element by Fuego Wins 2009 GOOD DESIGN Award
The Chicago Atheneum Museum of Architecture and Design, in collaboration with The European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies, has announced the winners of the 59th annual GOOD DESIGN award, and the Ammunition-designed Element by Fuego has won in the household products category.
GOOD DESIGN aims to recognize "the world’s most prominent designers and manufacturers for advancing new, visionary, and innovative product concepts, invention and originality, and for stretching the envelope beyond what is considered basic product and consumer design." This year's competition received a record number of entries from over 40 countries.
The GOOD DESIGN competition was founded in Chicago in 1950 by Edgar Kaufmann Jr. and designers Eero Saarinen and Charles and Ray Eames. The competition bills itself as "the oldest and the world's most recognized program for design excellence worldwide."
Winning entries will be displayed at the annual GOOD DESIGN SHOW at the Chicago Atheneum in June 2010.
